Suede in Loveland
Many years ago, when I tried to find a venue to hold an event, it was a challenge. Things have changed over the years. Back then, it was either the Chilson Center or McKee.
With the advent of many new hotels in the area, there are more choices now. One new venue that is intriguing is called Suede. (What a great name.)
Suede the product of a couple of newcomers to Loveland. They own and run the Consignment Cafe downtown. Although it is possible to have a small gathering, over coffee, at their store in downtown Loveland, they wanted more.
So, now you can go to a private meeting space at 418 S.E. 8th Street. If you know Loveland very well, you will recognize this as an mostly industrial or warehouse area. Suede changes all that.
The area they have for meetings can hold up to 151 people. Once inside, any thoughts of industrial are gone. The walls are covered with paintings by local artists, and the decor is colorful and comfortable.
There are actually two areas within the building with an upstairs that can be used as VIP meeting spot. Company parties, fashion shows, art shows, etc. can all find a place that also includes a stage. Movies can be shown on one wall to increase the possibilities for the new meeting space.
Contact Cassandra or Roland at 669-6883 for more information.
