Loveland — News and views

Loveland is alive with business news and semi-news (rumors.)

Here is what I am hearing:

Merchant Voyage  (246 E. 4th Street) — I stopped by Friday for visit with Mary.  She said they are “hanging on by a thread.”  Merchant Voyage Facebook doesn’t seem to optimistic.

Teraza’s Not Just Gyros (134 E. 4th Street)  – There is a big pink sign in the window saying the business is for sale. I have not been able to get in touch with the owners.

Ice cream downtown?  There is some talk about an ice cream shop downtown.  I think that would be great, and add to the shopping experience and when the studios are open late.

I am hearing nothing about a possible new cheese shop downtown.

Away from the downtown Loveland area, there is some talk about someone taking part/half of the old Albertson’s at 1325 East Eisenhower.  On an unrelated, I think, item– I have not heard any news on the status of the Crunchy Grocer.

Anyone else know of anything on these topics or other Loveland businesses coming or going?
