Loveland 4th Street loses another biz

BodySong on 4th Street in downtown Loveland is in the process of closing.  (I hate to see any local business shut down.)

As I was doing my cardio walk on 4th Street yesterday, I saw Rick Padden out in front of the shop. Rick and his wife own BodySong and Kitchen Alley.  I saw notice on BodySong, and he confirmed that the shop was not going to make it.

BodySong opened late last year in a cozy 300 sq. foot space tucked in among the other locally owned shops downtown.  It sold  natural and organic body products.  They also had products for the bathroom, such as towels, robes, and shower curtains, along with locally-made candles.

Kitchen Alley will continue to be in business.  Check out the revamped alley on the west side of their building.

    Location?
    Economy?
    Lack of community support?
It’s a sad event when a local business closes.
