Loveland’s Rick Padden on the move

Loveland businessman journalist and playwright Rick Padden is starting a new adventure.  Rick and his wife own Kitchen Alley downtown Loveland.

Rick send me an email telling me that he is now involved with Blue Tree Real Estate Ltd.  He is billing himself as The Bone Hunter “I’ll find you a home with good bones.”

Speaking of Padden–His play The Great Loveland Potato Hoax is set to open this weekend at the Rialto Theater Center.  I have seen the reading of it and it is good.  A fun but true story from Loveland’s past.

Since my wife and I volunteer at the Rialto, I will be there this Friday night.  Stop by and say hello.  Not sure if I will be doing concesions, tickets or ushering.

Loveland Merchant Voyage to get help

Loveland business Merchant Voyage has been struggling.  I blogged about the plight of Merchant Voyage on April 26.

Now there may be some good new.  A recent email from Renee Blanchard says that the Loveland Cash Mob will decend on Merchant Voyage (246 E. Fourth Street) at 2 p.m. on May 12.

Try to find time to stop by and support a locally owned business in downtown (DoLo) Loveland.

Click on this line to find out about the Loveland Cash Mob.  They have a Loveland Cash Mob Facebook page too.
