Veteran Business Owners Network (VBON) has been in Loveland for about two years.
Today, I went to one of their meetings, and I will go back.
What a great group of veterans and those who support veterans. The group started out as a group of vets who wanted to network and refer each other. It has now expanded to a more general networking group (with helping veterans always a part of their activities), and is hoping to grow.
Members of the group include veterans, spouses of veterans and others who support and want to help those who have served in our military. There is no membership fee.
The VBON tagline is “Empowering Warrior Dreams.”
From the Veteran Business Owners Network website, I learned that VBON’s purpose is:
To network with other business owners, veterans and veteran supporters to assist, help, guide, and support veterans in need of assistance. We can help with financial assistance, emotional assistance, as well as recommendations for guidance as needed.
Our creed is to help veterans in need.
Our resources are the VBON team members who through their business acumen have the knowledge and experience required to assist veterans in need.
Our support includes financial ability, emotional support, as well as referring each members business, social, and community contacts to the other members in the group.
VBON meetings are held every other Friday at 8 a.m. at Mimi’s.
