The www.bobsheartbeats.com blog will be a potpourriof fact and speculation with an occasional dash of ranting and raving concerning businesses in Northern Colorado. Besides the printed word, pictures and videos will be used liberally for the visual learners among us.
In addition to passing along the latest “scoop”, the blog will highlight little known businesses that are “hidden” in plain sight.
Why the name? I chose the URL www.bobsheartbeats,com for a couple of reasons. For one thing, I want to capture the heart of the activity in the Northern Colorado business environment. Figuratively, I will have my finger on the pulse of all this action.
More personally, the blog name has to do with my recent heart attack and subsequent and stents quadruple bypass surgery. My recovery allowed me extra time to conjure up this plan to do a second blog. (My other one is www.wordsbybob.com, and it explores the use, misuse and humor of words.)
Why me?
I moved to Loveland in June 1969, and I love Loveland. My wife was born in Loveland, and we raised our son here. It is home.

Past volunteer for Loveland Police Dept, Senior Police
Former member of Loveland Police Advisory Board
Currently volunteering to writing and product a book called Loveland 365
